Thanks to the generous support of donors in our community, we have been able to purchase items to enhance health care in Olds.

Donated dollars have helped to bring enhanced health services to Olds, especially in the areas of Women’s Health and Orthopaedic Surgery. Because of donations, the Olds Hospital & Care Centre is now able to perform shoulder surgeries locally, reducing wait times for patients while also bringing additional traffic to our local businesses as patients and families travel into Olds from out-of-town for surgery.

Each bed costs approximately $18,000 each. To ensure a cushion we are committed to raising $300,000 over the next two years. With the Luft and Ross Family Hospital Equipment Trust, we already have $150,000 towards our goal.
