2026 is here and the Olds Healthcare Fundraising Committee is excited to commit to the funding requests for the following items this January! By our standards, that is exceptional! We understand that there is a desperate need for increased healthcare providers, not in Olds but across Canada. While we cannot hire, we are doing our very best to support the existing staff with the equipment and upgrades needed to execute their roles efficiently and reduce burn out! YOUR SUPPORT

The "New Year's Baby" for Olds, Alberta, in 2026 is Dane Klassen, born to Briana and Tristan Klassen of Three Hills on January 3rd at the Olds Hospital & Care Centre. Dane was born around 6 a.m., weighing 8.4 pounds (3,840 grams), and received gifts from local officials and organizations celebrating him as the first baby of the year for the area".

It’s that time of the year where we collaborate with the Olds and Area Health Professionals Attraction and Retention Committee  and show our sincere appreciation to the staff at the Olds Hospital and Care Centre!
