This is not your everyday post from OHFC.

In November 2025, we received a treasured gift, under a very bittersweet circumstance. Late donor- Jim Thomson, who was our sole donor in funding the overhead ceiling lifts in May 2025, through continued generosity, left a final gift, with its weight in gold. His sons, Brad & Jeff made a visit to honor the donation as well as their own special donation.

...

While we are saddened by Jim's passing- we would continue the work that he started in May 2025 and fulfil the needs of additional overhead ceiling lifts with this donation. A special thank you to Jim's family, a legacy that we would continue to honor and uplift. Many would remember the late Jim Thomson who was present and onsite at the Long Term Care Unit earlier this year in May 2025 to view the installation of the overhead ceiling lifts. This was particulrly important as Jim 100% funded this iniative for the improved care of the residents.
